Rod Lawn, owner and operator of Adamas Fishing Charters has lived and fished in Barwon Heads and surrounding areas all his life and has been taking his clients fishing into Bass Strait since 1989.
Rod believes in providing good service, using first class equipment & fresh bait and making every effort to put his clients amongst the fish, ensuring a great day is had by all. This is his aim and to him is the most satisfying aspect of his business. This ultimately builds loyalty among his customers whom have supported him in the past 21 years.
Since 2008, we have been fortunate to have Peter Smallwood as part of our team at Adamas Fishing Charters. Pete's experience fishing in and around Port Phillip Heads is unequalled in the Fishing Charter industry.
Peter has been working full time in the Fishing Charter industry since 1987. He spent 10 years as owner and operator of Big Red Fishing Charters followed by 7 seasons working for Mark Rushton of Bellarine Fishing Charters.
Both Rod and Pete have over 40 years of combined fishing charter experience fishing the waters of Port Phillip Bay, the Rip, and Bass Strait in Southern Victoria.
Marine qualifications include:
Master V, Skipper III, Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 and Coxwains tickets
combined with Port Phillip Heads endorsements.
Leaving from Queenscliff Boat Ramp, we have access to a wide variety of productive fishing grounds. Just a short run through Port Phillip Heads and into Bass Strait where we can head west towards Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Torquay or to the east offshore from Portsea, Sorrento, and Gunamatta.
During May, June, and July, Adamas Fishing Charters operates from Portland chasing Southern Bluefin Tuna, Albacore, Sharks and Snapper.
Whether chasing tuna, sharks, snapper, kingfish, whiting, calamari or flathead, you will be impressed by the effort our team puts in every time we head out.
We depart from the Queenscliff boat ramp.
