WHAT TO DO AND BRING

Please make sure everyone who is coming is aware of the following details;

Victorian Recreational Fishing License

Fishing licenses are required by law and are available via the Fisheries Victoria website. You will need one organised before the time you depart on our charter.

Weather Check

Please phone Rod by 6 PM the night before your trip to confirm weather conditions and departure time.

Please arrive 30 minutes before scheduled departure time to allow for completion of passenger manifest and safety brief.

Rod’s Mobile: 0407 041 566

Clothing and Footwear

Please bring warm/suitable clothing, you can always take layers off, but you can’t put it on if you don’t have it. Robust footwear is required, no thongs.

Sunscreen, sun hats and sunglasses are recommended.

Food, Drinks and Alcohol

Please bring something to eat and drink.

Alcohol is allowed in moderation but not recommended. You will be in an unfamiliar environment and fishing is a two handed sport.

Sea Sickness

Alcohol before your trip is a recipe for sea sickness, even in moderation. If you are unsure about sea sickness, please consult your local pharmacist.

Fish Transportation

Your fish will be stored on board on ice. It is important for you to transport your fish home on ice, in an esky. Please leave an empty esky in your car.

You may wish to freeze a bottle of water the night before to keep your esky cool and save having to stop for ice on the way home.
